The Esoteric Grandioso Turntable T1 is launched and is celebrating its 35TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE HIGH-END JAPANESE BRAND
The ultimate in High End Vinyl anyone? The Japanese HiFi company Esoteric has launched its first-ever turntable to celebrate its 35th anniversary, it is now available after its unveiling at High-End Munich earlier this year.
The first turntable in Esoteric’s history, the Esoteric Grandioso T1 features a new patent-registered contact-free drive mechanism, called the Esoteric MagneDrive System. Esoteric was created 35 years ago as the high-end offering from TEAC.
ESOTERIC MAGNEDRIVE SYSTEM
To achieve a fully silent rotation at an “extraordinarily exact” rotation speed, the contact-free Esoteric MagneDrive System was created to synchronize the rotations of the magnetic driver and the platter.
This is accomplished by removing mechanical contacts from the turntable, such as the belt, rim, or motor, to prevent the speed inconsistencies that these can bring about. Additionally, you don’t need to repair any parts like belts thanks to the MagneDrive system.
The Esoteric Grandioso T1 Turntable’s acoustic qualities can also be altered manually by adjusting the distance between the platter and the driver, which is done using the Micrometer knob on the front panel.
ESOTERIC GRANDIOSO T1 TURNTABLE
The Esoteric Grandioso T1 Turntable features a 10MHz Clock Sync capability for the motor drive unit and a three-piece independent chassis configuration and the Japanese brand says that it is the culmination of its unique design philosophy and mechanical/electronic technology. The three-piece configuration comprises the main unit, motor unit, and power supply unit.
MAGNE-FLOAT PLATTER
The Esoteric Grandioso T1 Turntable, according to the Japanese company, is the apex of its distinct design philosophy and mechanical/electronic technology. It boasts a 10MHz Clock Sync capability for the motor drive unit and three-piece independent chassis construction.
The main unit, motor unit, and power supply unit make up the three-piece configuration.
TONEARM
The Esoteric Grandioso T1 Turntable is available with or without a TA-9D dynamic balance tonearm, there is also an optional arm-board to allow the addition of up to three tonearms.
